PERSONAL STYLE: James doesn’t really have much of a style. It usually just involves whatever shirt and sweater he throws on and a pair of jeans. Unlike his younger brother who tries to look much neater all the time.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: James looks a bit more like his mother than his father, though he has more of an athletic looks to him, unlike his parents. He has dark brown hair, which some figured came from the combination of the red from Ginny’s and the black from Harry’s. He always keeps it short and he has bright blue eyes. He stands at 5’9” much taller than his younger brother, Albus.

BIOGRAPHY: James is the first born child of Harry and Ginny Potter. Born on and early snowy morning January 10, 2005, James was named after his grandfather and his middle name from his father’s godfather. As a child he was a bit troublesome, always finding a way to get into trouble. He loved teasing his baby brother Albus, and still does to this day. Secretly he’s actually protective of Albus, looking out for him without Albus even knowing. However, when it comes to his little sister Lily, he’s very protective of her and always has to check out the guys she dates before she can go on a date with them.

When James was elven and was waiting to get sorted, he knew that he would be a Gryffindor, in his mind there was no doubt about it. After all, both of his parents were Gryffindors so why wouldn’t he be? If it wasn’t for the fact that the Sorting Hat was intrigued to see the first Potter since Harry, it would have screamed instantly that he was a Gryffindor. But just like with his father, it had to think for a bit to make him nervous, except that it did want to make James nervous, whereas with his father, it really thought that Slytherin was a good choice.

During his first six years at Hogwarts he has gained many friends, joked around a lot and lost many Gryffindor house points. It is said that he has part of three of his Uncle’s inside of him. The Weasley twins as well as Ron. He’s very nosy and will poke his nose at anything, just like Ron.

James was never one to study a whole lot and he always did his homework at the last minute. He would try to get a friend to help him finish it, which he usually succeeded in. But just like his father, he is a natural at Defense against the Dark Arts, and like his grandfather, James Potter, he is a natural at Transfiguration as well.

Of course like all Hogwarts students James picked up two classes in his third year. They were Care of Magical Creatures and Divination (even though his family advised against it). He had figured that they would be the two easiest classes after all.

In his fifth year he took his O.W.L.s and managed to scrap some.
