A swarm of grey clouds hovered over the Hogwarts castle as students crept out of the walls and into the day's air. Jasey was sure that professors were having a hell of a time with gathering the students, since all the teens seemed to want is to dodge the raindrops falling on them. After about ten minutes, they professors did the most they could and huddled under umbrellas, escorting the teens to the train. Jasey didn't really have anyone to huddle under an umbrella with, since she tended to be a bit of a loner if she wasn't at a party with a crowd. Her dark hair seemed lighter, with a dash of red in it, that day, though she was sure the light beaming through the clouds had something to do with it. Tousling her hair, Liv boarded the train and found a compartment to herself. She was joined by two other girls, of whom didn't seem to want to speak to her. She was fine with that, though. Not a lot of people wanted to talk to her outside of parties.
Jasey leaned forward slightly as the train came to a stop. The bustle of wet shoes squeaking on the plastic ground was a bit annoying, but Jasey didn't rush to get off the train. She waited for most of the people to leave, then scooped her rather large tote bag up her arm and departed. Greeted with a nod by one of the professors at the door, Jasey returned it with a subtle smile then walked off. She ran a hand over her frizzed hair, damp with water that had slightly stopped falling. She ran her fingers through her hair to get it back to normal volume, then continued to walk. Olivia bit her lower lip as she debated where to go. She was sure that the Three Broomsticks would be full, and while Honeydukes was sure to be packed as well, it seemed the only decent place to preoccupy her. Pushing her glasses back to the brim of her nose, she found herself standing in front of the sweet shop. With a shrug to herself, she opened the door.
She looked around, her brown pupils searching for someone she knew. While that wasn't a problem, she didn't know those people well enough to hang around. Sighing, Jasey stocked up on some chocolate frogs, bertie bott's beans, and a couple other small treats. After waiting in the long line to pay, Liv grabbed her things and squeezed into a small booth in the corner. She tousled her hair once more, then opened up a chocolate frog and ate it quickly.

Of all days for it to rain it had to be the day of the Hogsmeade trip. Aubrey side as she made her way to the train through the sea of students. She didn’t need to stick with a teacher since she had her own deep pink umbrella that she had opened above her. However, because of the sea of students it was hard to keep her umbrella above her. She kept bumping into them left and right, mainly the third years that were running around like they were going to melt. Seriously, did they not realize that it was just water? Sure, she didn’t want her hair to get wet since it would mess it up. Aubrey hated it when her golden blond hair got messed up, not because it needed to look perfect, but because it felt weird on her scalp then. If that even made sense to anyone else, it made sense to her though.
All she really wanted to do was get on the train before her hair would frizz from the bit of humidity there was outside, that was another weather condition that Aubrey hated. Her deep hazel eyes scanned the sea looking for an exit. She finally managed to find one and quickly slipped onto the train, closing her umbrella once she was in the safety of the compartment. She didn’t take long to find a compartment to sit in; after all it was a short ride so it wasn’t like she needed to sit next to someone she liked to. So she just took the nearest one and sat down, it was empty at that time. Later on before the train headed to Hogsmeade a couple of third year joined her. However, she just ignored them.
Once the train had arrived at the Hogsmeade station, Aubrey popped open her umbrella once more as she stepped off of the train. Normally on a rainy day like this Aubrey would’ve headed straight for The Three Broomsticks to warm herself up with a butterbeer. But she had learned from her past that it would be jammed pack with other students who had the same idea in their head. She sighed and headed for Honeydukes instead. She needed to stock up on her candy stash anyways, seeing as her black cat, Ebon, kept taking her chocolate frogs to play with the magical chocolate. Silly cats.
Stepping inside of Honeydukes, Aubrey closed her Umbrella once more. The place was full of Hogwarts students, but not nearly as full as it probably was at The Three Broomsticks. Being a prefect though made it easier for Aubrey, younger students just moved out of her way afraid she may punish them when they saw the badge on her chest. That was one of the perks that Aubrey loved about being a Prefect. Quickly she gathered up some candy, making sure to take extra chocolate frogs for Ebon and then she paid for her candy. Not wanting to go back out into the dreary weather she looked for a place to sit in Honeydukes instead. Her gaze landed on a booth in the corner that contained on Hufflepuff girl, Jasey Dursley. She had spoken to Jasey on several occasions and they get along fine. She remembered that at one point James had mentioned that she was a cousin of his.
Shrugging lightly Aubrey decided to sit down at the same booth as her. “Hey Jasey, ” Aubrey flashed her famous friendly smile before digging into her bag, she was craving some white chocolate and pulled out a chunk of it before quickly unwrapping it and taking a bite. Jasey didn't seem too interested in her surroundings, though she did take them in. There were a few first years beaming around the loads of candy, the muggle-borns sticking out like sore thumbs. Of course, first years in general were excited to see all the candy - but muggle-borns always looked a bit surprised. Jasey smiled, remembering her first time in honeydukes. It was a wonderful experience, she noted. Though, at that time, she wished that her brother could have been there to experience it with her. Her brother didn't get into Hogwarts, since he wasn't a wizard. He teased Jasey about it ever since, despite their father's constant lectures of how the wizarding school did wonders for his cousin, Harry.
Jasey, of course, didn't really like to look back on her past. It only reminded her how the friendship she had with her brother was ruined by her magical abilities. Sometimes, she resented being a witch. At others, though, she realized that she had been lucky to get powers most others don't. Jasey tried to drain her mind of her past, and instead reacted to the voice that said her name. "Oh, hey Aubrey," she said, a smile tugging at her lips. She had talked to the Gryffindor several times, and while they weren't best friends, they got along pretty decently. Aubrey was someone Jasey could talk to easily, and they could have a bit of fun together. Though Aubrey was a prefect, Jasey knew that she wouldn't rat her out if something were to happen on accident. "Love your skirt,"
she said softly, admiring Aubrey's sense of style. TAG: aubrey OUTFIT: featured in the pictures NOTES: your post was fine dear (: sorry i'm not in a great mood today so mine kinda sucks [/blockquote][/blockquote]
