It happened to be a beautifully sunny day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which, in Albus’s mind, was perfect for studying outside! Classes had ended recently and he was now walking across the grounds towards the lake where the giant squid was currently peeking out of lake for a moment before it submerged into the water once again.
Albus took in a breath huge of breath of air before he pulled out a small green blanket he had in his school bag and placed it by a tree. He didn’t want to get grass stains all over his uniform after all. He took of his Slytherin robes and folded them up before laying them softly down on the ground. It was a bit warm to be wearing his robes and he was glad that he decided to where a white short-sleeved shirt that day. He loosened his tie a bit to let himself breathe easier before he took a seat upon the blanket and leaned back against the tree.
He took his bag off of his shoulders and then opened it up to pull out his Defense Against the Dark Arts text book. School had only recently started and since it was the first year of his N.E.W.T. classes that meant that he already had an essay to write. So of course he figured he better reread the chapter just in case, granted he already read all of his textbooks before the school year had even started.
He flipped the book open to the first chapter and began to skim through it. He glanced up every-so-often as if he was waiting for someone. And he was waiting for someone to show up, that someone was a fifth year Hufflepuff named Sara-Elizabeth. The two of them had been friends for quite a while now and they enjoyed studying together as well.
He lightly ruffled his hand through his messy jet black hair, one of the trademarks he got from his father as people would say. The other was his eyes, they were his father’s eyes but everyone always commented on how they were just like his Grandmother’s eyes. The Grandmother he had never met, but he felt that it was a good thing that he had her green eyes.
He turned a page in his potions text book as his green eyes scanned back and forth across the words in the book, still glancing up to see if Sara-Elizabeth was on her way out to meet him yet. He knew that it wouldn’t be much longer before she would be out there; after all, he was pretty sure that her last class of the day got out at about the same time as his.

Sara-Elizabeth knew that today was a good day to study outside. Her last class for that day was Divination a class that made her sleepy but she thought that it would be a good class to take. So she signed up for it. Now she regrets it a little bit since that class is no fun. When the class was over she was happy as she put away her book and said goodbye to the professor. She was heading down the many stairs while thinking about her friend/study buddy Albus Potter.
Sara-Elizabeth was having a hard time getting down to the grounds since she was seeing her friends everywhere and she was also walking down many stairs. When she got to the Entrance Hall she smiled to her self as she stopped to catch her breath some. She knew that by going up those steps and down them would be her way of getting exercise well the whole school is her exercise. She opened the door and stood in front of them as she pulled her long blond hair in a ponytail before heading toward the bridge that would lead her near Hagrid's hut then the lake.
As she was walking across the bridge she was humming a tune that was in her head. When she was across the bridge and she knew that she had her breath back she looked around before she started to run down toward the lake. When she got down there she was breathing heavy again before she saw Albus near the lake. She walked over to the tree and smiled at Albus. She sat down on the blanket before saying "Hi Albus. So sorry it took me so long stupid Divination being the last class."
She smiled at her friend as she moved some of her bangs before taking off her robe and putting it next to her before loosing some of her tie and looked into her bag for her Divination book so that she could start on her essay for that class about the chapter that they are suppose to read about Looking Glasses. She sighed as she knew that she was probably going to fall asleep from doing the homework but she also know that if she gets it out of the way then less homework for her O.W.ls year so far.

Albus was turning another page in his book when Sara-Elizabeth showed up apologizing about her being later. She had mentioned something about Divination class, a class that Albus had never taken. He remembered back at the end of his second year when he was deciding what classes he wanted to take his Uncle Ron Weasley had advised him against taking Divination no matter how easy it sounded. He had said that was a load of bologna and his father had even agreed with him. “Don’t worry about it Sara-Elizabeth, Divination’s in the top of the North Tower isn’t it?” he had used her full name when he was sure that many of her friends called her by a nickname. But he liked her full name and felt that it was better to call her by it. However, he never thought of asking her what she preferred to be call, maybe one day he will.
He had finished reading a sentence he was on before he looked up at her with his warm smile, his green eyes sparkling in the sunlight. It was always good to see a friend no matter what type of mood he was in. But then again he was rarely in a mood where he wanted to be left alone by everyone, just only with certain people. “You’re taking your O.W.L.s this year aren’t you?” he said it as a question even though he knew it was true. She was a fifth year after all, and that was the year every student took their O.W.L.s. He remembered taking his last year, not exactly all the tests he could say were easy. Some were, but those were mainly the classes that he was good at and had interest in.
“But at least you get to look forward to dropping some of the classes next year. I know that there were a couple I dropped this year,” he smiled again. Yes, the sixth year was the year that he knew many students looked forward to. They would all get to drop the classes that they detested the most and he knew that many dropped History of Magic, such a boring class after all. Unless of course you were a Ravenclaw; he knew that many of them were interested in all of the classes and tried to get O’s in every single course there was at Hogwarts. He rather just stick to getting O’s in the classes he actually liked.
